The Bar of Soap Table is a coffee table design that mimics the form of worn down bar of soap. Clever name, I know. 

The organic shape and contours are created to highlight the flow and pattern of the wood grain. I use a power planer and an angle grinder to sand and shape the rails of the table, much like the shaping of foam blank for a surfboard. 

The tables come in many different sizes and shapes - and I custom make each base to fit the table top.
